I was lost… seeking the light, and ended up becoming a light [to others] along the way.

“The odds are against me… My corner is screaming for me to get up and finish the fight for a clean cut victory… The crowd is chanting my name, and folks who once turned their backs on me are wishing they had front row tickets right about now!”

“They are focused solely on the deliverables, and are unconcerned with what’s actually taking place within the factory… When the machines break, fingers are pointed and no one wants to be held accountable for the cost of repair/recovery.”

Existing within the short distance between my hand and my face
are so many troubles and worries
Life through these bloodshot eyes
would indeed strike fear in the hearts of men
The pain on my face reflects that
which lies within the hearts of those I love
Confusion now inhabits the space where
great strategies were once formed
and beautiful words were born
The Inspiration that Deprivation Bred…
As time passes,
distance grows and desires fade away
The passionate infernos that once blazed within,
are reduced to flickers
and eventually…
they burn out altogether
The forsaken heart is like a potted plant
left behind by the individual
who has moved on to start a new beginning
destitute of nurture,
it begins to decompose and crumble
becoming the soil,
that gives new life
to something else
as hope is lost,
new opportunity begins to take shape
…and LIFE GOES ON!

The sands that comprise me
Are slowly dissipating in this old hourglass
and are becoming lost in the whirlwind
The allies that once walked beside me
have trodden new paths
The elements that fuel their happiness
do not include me
Those who remain close to me
are merely a phone call away
Yet, too far away for me to lean on
during my time of need
I’ve fallen so many times lately that
my knees are scuffed and bleeding
and I can no longer stand alone
The Eat Seasonably...
So do some living!!!
Very cool: “Dream Big” was a year-long project in which Peter Fecteau created a mosaic of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. using 4,242...
Still the greatest.
